Christ Church has over 680 square feet of stained glass in 22 windows (11 of these are double windows with two identical windows, making 33 separate windows).

Drag your mouse across each window to see a brief description. Then click on a picture to see the large version and a complete description of the window, including the memorial inscription and history. Most of these windows have a much larger, high resolution photo available by clicking on the photo displayed on each window's individual page.  Most of them are 60-120 kilobytes in size and should download reasonably quickly, depending upon your internet connection speed.

All of the pictorial windows displayed here EXCEPT St. Luke are of the Munich "school" or "style."  All of these "Munich" windows were created by Jacoby Art Glass Company in St. Louis, Missouri, except St. Cecelia and St. Chrysostom.  Click here for a brief history of Jacoby Art Glass Company and Lee Cook, the artist who created our windows for Jacoby.  The leafy tracery and ornamental openwork of the upper regions of the stained glass in our Munich school windows in the two transepts and above the altar depict the biblical symbols of faith.
